About Studio Springwood
Studio Springwood is a landscape and garden design practice based in York, established by Brian Stebbings. I work on projects throughout Yorkshire and the North East of England and provide design services for gardens of all shapes, sizes and budgets.
I believe that our gardens are an extension of our homes and should be designed to be both beautiful spaces to live within, and functional to you and your families needs. Both aspects are always considered during the design process to ensure that the perfect balance is delivered every time. I work with natural materials to ensure that your garden works with your home and wider surroundings to provide a timeless feel to your outdoor space.

Meet the designer
I have always had a passion for gardening and nature, it’s something that I’ve enjoyed for as long as I can remember. The more I learnt about gardening the more I was hooked, it started as a hobby but quickly grew into a profession.
I went on to study professional garden design at the National Design Academy, where I graduated with distinction in 2022. Before this, I worked for many years in the construction industry where I gained a wealth of knowledge in materials, construction methods and project management. This experience has been invaluable in my path to becoming a garden designer.
Upon completion of my qualification, Studio Springwood was born.
